Katie Palomares

Katie is a Mixed Vietnamese/White activist, writer, and pastor currently living in Austin, TX. She earned her M.A. in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary and received her B.A. in English with teacher certification from Texas State University. Katie is passionate about encouraging & enabling every image bearer to lean into the fullness of who God has created them to be across every sphere of their lives. She particularly enjoys discipling and teaching about integrated being, mixed identity, people-first leadership, justice, the Church, and helping all believers to step into the fullness of their faith Monday - Saturday, in their everyday lives.

She and her husband Gabe also enjoy camping out of their Honda Pilot whenever the Texas weather allows, and experimenting with what meals they can cook over a campfire. You can typically find Katie consuming books like they’re chips, hanging out by the nearest body of water, or enjoying a good cup of coffee & conversation!
